    Governance Structures and Committees

    EMPOWER established two high-profile boards to offer strategic direction to the programme; a Pubic Policy Advisory Board and an Industry Advisory Board.

    Senior individuals from a range of industrial sectors and the public sector make up the board, offering a diverse array of viewpoints and perspectives. The members’ expertise in public policy helps shape and develop EMPOWER/Programme initiatives that are in line with the changing needs of society and the policy landscape. At the same time, the board offers an industry-related perspective to maintain strategic alignment between the research objectives of the Programme and the industry landscape.
