Pierangelo Rosati

Dr. Pierangelo Rosati is an Associate Professor in Digital Business and Society at the University of Galway, a Funded Investigator at Lero, and a researcher on the EMPOWER research programme. He is also the Business Community Lead of the IEEE UK & Ireland Blockchain Group and a member of the Blockchain Ireland Education, Skills, and Innovation Working Group. Rosati’s research focuses on measuring the business value of digital technologies and has been published in various academic journals including the European Accounting Review, Computers and Human Behaviour, New Media & Society, European Journal of Finance, International Review of Financial Analysis, Information Technology & People, JASIST and others. He is also a Series Editor on the Palgrave Studies in Digital Business & Enabling Technologies. He has also served as an Assistant Professor in Business Analytics at DCU Business School and was Co-Deputy Director of the Irish Institute of Digital Business. Dr Rosati holds a PhD in Accounting and Finance from the University of Chieti-Pescara a and an MSc and BSc in Management and Business Administration from the University of Bologna.
